percent. The factors affecting gasohol E20 consumption prioritized in order from highest
to lowest are as follows: gas station, alternative assessment, price, public relations,
satisfaction, purchase decision, and information. Furthermore, all factors described the
variance of gasohol E20 consumption was approximately 86.30 percent. The factors
affecting gasohol E85 consumption prioritized in order from highest to lowest are as
follows: price, alternative assessment, public relations, gas station, information,
satisfaction, and purchase decision. Furthermore, all factors described the variance of
gasohol E85 consumption was approximately 85.00 percent.
According to risk analysis of gasohol 91 and 95, the results indicated that
the risk factors on information and alternative assessment were an unacceptable
level. For gasohol E20 and E85, the findings showed that risk factors on price, gas
station, public relations, and alternative assessment were an unacceptable level. The
guidelines for risk management were risk transfer and risk control as follows:
government should support and push forward the potential and credible agencies in
research to develop properties of biofuels that close to gasoline, to optimize for use,
to reduce production costs, and to test performance and to publicize relevant
information that comprehensive and thorough. It will lead to making confidence among
consumers and daring to choose biofuels compatible with engine technology, ability
to set biofuel price suitable with performance, the maximum satisfaction of consumers
with both price and performance, and recognition of the real data from the reliable
agencies. Besides, the government should encourage and push forward the private
agencies to expand and increase the number of gas stations that sell all types of
biofuel. It will lead to increasing the number of biofuel stations sufficient with needs
and compatible with the engine technology in the present and the future.
